Abstract


Hypertension the pregnancy are a health problem that can lead (Pb) to
complications in pregnancy and one of the highest contributor to maternal mortality (MMR). Hypertension in pregnancy has been association with accumulation of blood lead levels. The purpose of this research is to know the Analysis Influence Levels Lead (Pb) In Blood With Hypertension Events The Pregnant Woman of the Grinting Village Bulakamba Sub-District In Brebes District Central Java. This research used the obsevasional analytic method with
Cross-Sectional study design approach. The number of samples in this research are 49 pregnant women in the Grinting Village Bulakamba Sub-District In Brebes District Central Java taken by purposive sampling. The results showed that there was a association between lead (Pb) level in blood with hypertension occurrence obtained p-value = 0,042 (PR = 2,880, 95% CI = 1,077-7,669) the pregnant woman have high blood lead (Pb) level 2,880 often have hypertension incidence compared with Low blood lead levels. Multivariate obtained p-value = 0,017 (95% CI = 1,413-33,526) that the blood lead (Pb) level are the factor that influence the happening of hypertension with probability equal to 76%.
Conclusions: High blood lead levels in pregnant women are a risk factor that greatly affects the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy
